Some Local outdoor rinks are now open
Lace up your skates and grab your hockey sticks because some local rinks are now open.
Maynooth rink in Hastings Highlands and Bancroft’s outdoor rink in L’amable were open for skating this weekend. They should remain open while conditions are good.
The Bancroft outdoor rink is located in L’Amable behind the Dungannon Recreation center. The Maynooth Rink is on Young Street next to the loggers field.
Fosters Lake Rink in Carlow Mayo is not open yet but according to the municipality they hope to open the rink later in the week.
Birds Creek and Lake St Peter rinks are not yet open according to the Hastings Highlands website.
