The North Hastings Music Festival and Bancroft Eagles Nest Park have both entered McDougall’s Community Contest.
This is the 11th year of the contest in which McDougall insurance company awards three prizes worth a total of $10,000 to local charities, non-profit organizations or community projects.
Winners are selected by the amount of votes their video receives.
Diane Winmill, music festival board member, told My Bancroft Now about how their video came together:
“We took all of our video and photographic footage from the festival and Jillian (festival director) lovingly compiled it into a video for our submission.” said Winmill.
The Stewards of Bancroft Eagles Nest Park has also submitted a video.
They say they are hoping to raise funds for a 7 km trail expansion at Eagles Nest Park.
