A 23-year-old man from Bancroft has been charged with provincial and criminal code offences, after fleeing from police Monday night.
Just after 7:30 p.m., Bancroft OPP say they attempted to stop a motorcycle that had no licence plate. The motorcycle fled from police and one person was arrested soon after.
Charges laid include Flight from a Peace Officer, Failure to Comply with a Probation Order, Possession of a Schedule III Substance and Dangerous Operation.
The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on August 13.
