Ontario Parks is reporting that day use permits are now sold out for Saturday (Oct. 5) and no more will be sold for the Highway 60 Corridor.
Day use permits are still available for other areas of Algonquin Park.
Algonquin Park day use permits must be purchased up to five days in advance online or by telephone.
Seasonal day use permit holders must also reserve online, as entry is not guaranteed, and subject to capacity limits.

People traveling through Algonquin Park on Highway 60 to or to or from Oxtongue Lake and Whitney, do not need a permit. However, for those using park facilities such as trails, picnic grounds and bathrooms a permit is required. For more information see here.
