Bancroft OPP have arrested two people from Quebec in connection with a stolen Jeep Rubicon.
Just before noon on Thursday, police spotted the eastbound jeep, which had been reported stolen from a dealership on Highway 118 in Haliburton.
The suspects attempted to evade a traffic stop and later abandoned the vehicle in Bancroft.
A woman from Cantley, Quebec was arrested nearby and a man from Bowman, Quebec was arrested just afterwards.
Both are charged with flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation and theft.
Both have been held pending a bail hearing.
