Canada Post says they have reinstated on-time service guarantees and returned to full-service levels for domestic parcels, including in rural and remote areas.
The corporation expressed gratitude to Canadians via a media release for “their patience these past few weeks” as they have worked to restore normal operations while managing “significant holiday volumes.”
Canadians should continue to expect delivery delays for mail such as letters, bills and statements as they continue to process accumulated mail alongside new mail.
Business customers should also expect a delivery delay of several days, as there is a significant amount of neighbourhood mail to be processed and delivered.
Customers should also expect several days delay for incoming items from abroad.
