Last fall, Shannon Cloutier from Pembroke won an ‘early bird prize’ in the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s growing TogethER lottery which is raising vital funds for redevelopment at the Barry’s Bay Hospital.
The draw for $1,000 cash was held at St. Francis Memorial Hospital on Nov. 22.
According to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation (SFVHF) Cloutier planned on using his winnings to ‘buy a few more Growing TogethER Lottery tickets and help the worthwhile cause.’
Last week the grand prize draw took place with SFVHF Executive Director Erin Gienow announcing the Grand prize winner of the Toyota Rav Hybrid.
“And the winner is ..Shannon Cloutier!” Gienow announced to the delighted crowd.
“Very lucky (and very generous!) Shannon Cloutier, after he won the cash, purchased more tickets.” explained Gienow, “So thank you so much Shannon, for giving back to the lottery again…what an incredible way to kick off the new year.”
Cloutier will now decide whether to take the Rav4 XSE Hybrid as the prize or take the cash prize of $44, 000 in lieu of the SUV.
