Bancroft OPP say they have seized over $18,000 worth of drugs in Bancroft.
Just after 9 a.m. on Sunday, officers checked on a vehicle on Buck Hill Road, where they saw some items associated with illegal drugs in the car.
Two people were arrested at the scene. A search warrant of the vehicle uncovered more than 40 grams of suspected fentanyl, more than 24 grams of suspected cocaine, morphine and lorazepam pills.
OPP say two people are now facing charges including drug trafficking and theft under $5,000.
Both are in custody and will appear in court tomorrow in Belleville.
