Tell us a bit about yourself
Tyrell: I have lived on a farm in Madoc for the past 12 years and absolutely adore this region.
I worked from the age of 14 and am lucky enough to never not have had employment. I have also owned and run a small business in Toronto.
I have the philosophy that if you have the opportunity & ability to help someone, you should.
I have been a Commercial Insurance Broker for the past 30 years and handled some of the largest Manufacturing, Construction and Realty companies in Ontario.
The New Blue Party was formed 6 years ago to offer the traditional Conservative values to the people of Ontario. I believe that at its noblest, good and responsible government should demonstrate accountability, transparency, and integrity while acting in the best interests of the cirtizens.
The New Blue Party is the true Conservative Party that will make Ontario poised to compete in the future economic landscape. Our Blueprint for strength, stability and good government will get Ontario back to business.
What do you think is the most important issue for the area and why?
Tyrell: Healthcare deserves a considerable amount of attention, especially with an aging & increasing population. The global initiatives over the past years are also of concern. Many of the issues with are facing come from the financial inefficencies of the current government.
We would rehire all nurses and healthcare staff that were fired as a result of Covid mandates.Offer Choice of services which would help clear the backlog of procedures.
We support Provincial Sovereignty and we would not support any authority imposed by the United Nations and the World Economic Forum. The World Health Organization, The United Nation and the World Economic Forum shall have no jurisdiction in the Province of Ontario.
The New Blue would also work to stop the expansion of Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) for seniors, those with mental and physical disabilities, or veterans and will instead promote palliative care to enable dying with dignity and care.
Why should someone vote for you?
Tyrell: The New Blue Party is the only Conservative Party in Ontario poised to form good and responsible government that will demonstrate accountability, transparency, and integrity while acting in the best interests of its citizens.
I bring to the table many you of business experience and a knowledge of what our small to large business need to prosper in the future economic world.
I understand firsthand how difficult it can be financially for families to cope with the financial pressures that have increased since the Ford government took office. I and the New Blue have a direction to turn that around and stimulate the economy, redirect taxpayer dollars to work for them and support services that we all rely on.
I have worked tirelessly since the age of 14 and look forward to doing the same, for the constituents of Hastings-Lennox & Addington.
