Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday and pancakes are on the menu across the region.
In Bancroft, the annual pancake supper is taking place at St. John’s Anglican Church.
The dinner is between 4:30 and 6:30 March 4.
The Buffet Menu includes pancakes and syrup, ham, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, coffee and tea.
The cost is $18 for adults and $9 for kids. Children under 5 are free.

And just to the north, at the Community Fellowship Baptist Church in Birds Creek a free pancake supper is taking place from 6-7:30 p.m. tomorrow and everyone is welcome.
