March Break is underway and there’s lots going on across the region, from making a fairy door at the Hastings Highlands library to getting your garden going at the Seedy Saturday Seed Exchange in Maynooth.
Library CEO Wendy Keating says there’s a full week of fun at the library in Maynooth, including board games on Wednesday and some St Patrick’s Day crafts.
“On Thursday we’re doing hobby horses. That should be fun. You do have to pre-register for that event and on Friday we’re doing fairy doors, which is going to be exciting and on Saturday we’ll have our seed library open to the public. This is complementing the Seedy Saturday event, which is happening in the gym (Emond Hall) and it’s going to be huge.”
MooseFM asked Keating if the fairy doors that were being made would in fact lead to the Fairy Kingdom.
“Absolutely. Of course. We do have a fairy door on our front door here as well…”
