In a social media post Tuesday, the municipality of Hastings Highlands announced that with the warm weather quickly approaching and continued warm temperatures expected for the rest of the week, all outdoor rinks will close for the season.
The washrooms remain open at the Maynooth Rink, and the Birds Creek Rink for public use.
“We also very much appreciated everyone following our updates and requests to stay off the ice when necessary, as it helped keep the surfaces in prime shape for skating,” the municipality said, adding that they wished to thank everyone for a great skating season.
