Large drug bust in Faraday leads to multiple trafficking charges

Three people are facing multiple trafficking charges following a significant drug seizure in Faraday Township.

OPP say members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit launched an investigation earlier this spring.

A search warrant was executed last Thursday at a residence on Highway 28 South, with help from Bancroft OPP and the emergency response team.

Police say they seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, MDMA, psilocybin, and various prescription pills — including hydromorphone, oxycodone, and morphine — along with cash, cell phones, and drug paraphernalia.

Three individuals were arrested and face several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of crime proceeds. Two are also charged with breaching release and probation conditions.

All have been remanded into custody.

Two are scheduled to appear in court in Belleville tomorrow.
