Residents in the Bancroft area will have a chance to learn more about the federal government’s Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) during a public information session hosted by Service Canada this month.
The session is set for Thursday, June 26, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Loyalist College in Bancroft.
Service Canada representatives will be available to explain who qualifies for the dental program, what services are covered, and how to apply.
The CDCP is a national plan aimed at expanding access to dental care for Canadians without private insurance.
Service Canada’s notes this is part of their ongoing outreach efforts to connect residents in rural and smaller communities with federal services and programs.
