Friends for Dinner

A gathering of people from all walks of life, eating delicious pot-luck style meals in the outdoors, under the red tents in downtown Bancroft. Every Wednesday night at 5 pm, dozens of people gather to share, laugh, converse, meet new people, and enjoy a free meal (and often take home) for anyone that would like to join in. Friends for Dinner has been going since August 2019 weekly and has grown to 4 red tents, a trailer and 35 to over 50 people. Each week new people come, and new relationships are formed. People all have needs, some are financial, some for a hot meal, some for companionship, and all for friendship and love. This is a way of community shining and sharing. Please join us. Set up starts at 4:30, with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at 5:00. Dinner from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. At Cenotaph Park, behind Pizza Pizza. Fun, food, free… Friends for Dinner.
