First Series of Trail Events for 2024

What do horses, foraging and a celebration have in common?
Hastings Destination Trails Inc., in conjunction with Crowe Valley Conservation Authority, are pleased to invite you to the re-opening of McGeachie Conservation Area.
They will be joined by two mounted units in full regalia from Ontario Mounted Special Service Unit (Ambassador Patrol).
The educational part will feature Mystic Hollow Homestead conducting a foraging tour of edibles, herbs and medicinals. A truly wildly authentic experience.

Location: McGeachie Conservation Area, 363 Steenburg Lake North Road
Times: Mounted Unit preparation 8:30 a.m.
Opening Celebration 9:30 a.m.
Foraging Tour 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

This event is free however we ask for a non-perishable food donation for North Hastings Community Cupboard.
Please respect the environment by not picking plants, collecting insects (butterflies, etc.) or disturbing natural habitat and only leave footprints.
