The Wilberforce Agricultural Fair is back in full swing this year and takes place August fifth and sixth. Gates open at 6 p.m. Friday night and events include Fire Department Kid’s activities, food booth and pony pull. Kawartha Dairy will be serving up ice cream.
Saturday morning the gates open at 9 a.m. Gord Kidd and Friends and Appalachian Celtic will be on stage entertaining. Events include horse drawn wagon rides, sheep shearing, pedal tractor pull, pony rides, horse draw, petting zoo, sail boat races, nail driving competition, penny raffle, bouncy castles, and much more. Admission Friday night is FREE. Saturday admission is $7 and children under sixteen get in for FREE.
