Who said no one cares about elections anymore?
We combed our online data for the year and found that a story about Paul Jenkins being re-elected Mayor of Bancroft in October was the top read news story of 2022 on www.mybancroftnow.com. That is, if we don’t include breaking news stories of a tragic nature.
Since we’re a hunting community, it may be of no surprise that the second most read general news story was one, posted in April, about the province releasing new hunting regulations.
Another in the top five was a story that announced Ric Bresee’s victory as MPP for Hastings-Lennox & Addington back in June.
