The North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery reeled in big support last weekend.
The Hatchery announced its fundraising dinner hauled in a record $32,000.
The event brought supporters to the Bancroft Curling Club Saturday.
The Fish Hatchery is a volunteer-run, non-profit that raises eggs at its Hysert Road facility. When those eggs become fish, they’re released into local lakes, so the population remains strong.
