This weekend the Undefined Heroes will be taking the stage again, to play on top of their boathouse on Baptiste Lake.
It’s been over ten years since the band began performing their once-a-year boat-up show.

Drummer for the band Jackson Phillips says the event has grown over time:
“The first concert we had around 40 boats and last year we had around 85 and that’s just the boats. We’re in a nice little bay as well and there’s people all over the cottages. People have parties, get togethers.”
An even bigger crowd than usual might be expected this year as the show was featured in the May Issue of Cottage Life Magazine, calling it ‘the best free concert in cottage country’.
The article came about after Phillips cousin Sam, one of the originators of the band, saw a call out from Cottage Life looking for story ideas:
“He reached out to them and i guess they were quite interested…then around June last year they confirmed it with him and said they were going to send the writer and a photographer up for the day and get our story.”
The band performs a range of covers from classic rock to artists like Green Day and Blink 182.
There is no opening act this year and the concert starts at 6:30 p.m.
The boathouse is in the bay next to the Baptiste Lake Marina.
