Both drivers are dead after a head on collision Wednesday night in Denbigh.
OPP from Upper Ottawa Valley, Bancroft and Renfrew detachments responded to the scene on Highway 28, near Trout Lake Road, shortly before 8 p.m.
Police said both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers. Identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed, police said.
Highway 28 was closed overnight but reopened at 5:30 a.m. this morning.
The investigation continues with assistance from an OPP collision reconstructionist and technical collision investigation team members.
