Two people were arrested after a search warrant turned up cocaine, suspected LSD, a number of unknown pills and items typically associated with drug trafficking at a residence in Madoc on Wednesday.
An investigation was started earlier this year by the East Region Community Street Crime Unit due to drug trafficking in the area.
A search warrant was executed involving the OPP’s Central Hastings Detachment and specialty units.
A 44-year-old male resident of Madoc and a Centre Hastings woman, age 42, face charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking.
