Road closures in the area tomorrow

The municipality of Hastings Highlands is advising residents that some roads will be closed tomorrow due to culvert replacement work.

Hillsview Road will be closed between Moxam Road and McAlpine Road.

A section of Cross Country Road between street addresses 1207 and 1654 will also be closed.

A small area near the end of Herschel River Road will be closed as well.

They say no through traffic will be permitted during the closures.

The municipality says detours will be in place for all the closures except for Herschel River Road, which they expect will be finished quickly.

They advise residents to drive with caution in these areas while work is being done, and that the work will be done around busing schedules to minimize disruptions.

The work is expected to be done by Thursday.
