Road closures in Hastings Highlands next week for engineering reviews

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands is advising residents that single-lane closures of highway 62 will begin next week.

They said the closures will be in effect from June 2 to June 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., for geotechnical engineering reviews related to future construction.

Traffic delays can be expected and the municipality advises drivers to plan for additional travel time.

The Boulter Road Bridge will also be closed daily from June 1 to June 4 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the same purpose.

No through traffic will be permitted, but Boulter Road remains accessible via highway 62 on the north side and highway 28 on the south side.
