Two roads closed in Hastings Highlands due to flooding

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands says Baragars Road near Lake Saint Peter had to be closed Friday morning due to flooding.

Local traffic only is permitted.

The municipality says emergency crews have been notified and that road crews will continue to monitor the situation.

They say Old Diamond Lake Road has also had to be closed and is restricted to local traffic only due to flooding.

The closure stretches from South Baptiste Lake Road to Airport Road.

The municipality says smaller vehicles should not pass through the current water levels.
