Heavy drugs, weapons and cash were seized and one person faces charges after Bancroft OPP executed a search warrant.
Police say they received information last month about potential drug trafficking in the Bancroft area and after investigation, one person was arrested midweek.
A search warrant was executed on Thursday. Police say they found nearly 20 grams of suspected fentanyl, more than eight grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, pills, brass knuckles, a cattle prod and more than $2,100 in Canadian currency.
Charges against a 31-year-old from Bancroft include multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police ask anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity to contact Bancroft OPP or Crime Stoppers.
