Marmora and Lake has a new fire chief and community emergency management coordinator.

Mark MacDonald has joined the fire and emergency services team.

According to a social media post from the municipality, MacDonald has has worn many hats in a 40-year career in fire services and municipal government, including the last seven years with the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs, most recently as executive director.

The municipality says MacDonald brings a wealth of experience, skills, and expertise to his new role.
