Two upcoming November events at Community Futures

Community Futures of North & Central Hastings and South Algonquin are hosting a pair of events on back-to-back days next month.

A Women in Networking Business event is being held at the CFDC offices in Bancroft on Nov. 24 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
Organizers say it’s a chance to meet other women in business to share, learn and connect.
Featured speaker is Arynne Boyes, owner of Boyes Psychotherapy.
Community Futures provides programs and services to support enterprise, community-based development and employment.
The following day Nov. 25, CFDC is hosting a free Small Business Funding Forum from 8 a.m. until noon, with a free breakfast.
A speaker from the Ontario Ministry of Rural Affairs will share details about the Rural Ontario Development Grant Program.
More than a dozen business service providers will showcase programs, services and funding options, including municipal and county representatives and employment service organizations.
Organizers say guests can learn about grants, financing, programs and services for area businesses.
Registration is available on Eventbrite.
