Fall watermain flushing is coming to a finish in Bancroft Sunday.
The annual program began Tuesday and is happening daily between 10:00pm and 6:00am. The Ontario Clean Water Agency says it helps maintain water quality. The process can cause temporary discoloured water and low water pressure. During this time, you’re asked to avoid using your water, including washing clothes, if flushing is happening in your community. Run a cold water tap each morning to get rid of discoloured water.
