A Bancroft-owned fitness centre is starting to take shape.
A grand opening celebration for the yet-to-be-named centre has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 12.
The event starts at noon at the location, upstairs at the North Hastings Community Centre, at 103 Newkirk Blvd. Refreshments will be provided.
The fitness centre has been in the works since last fall, when Bancroft received a $500,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant.
The town says an official name of the centre will be released at the event.
