North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary recognizes member contribution

A number of North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary members have been recognized for their contributions to the organization.

Jim Sopha was recognized as the Auxiliary’s Provincial Life Nominee. Sopha, along with Dianna Coulson, Cathy Fulford, and Mary McCann, were also recognized as Local Life Nominees.

Gabrielle Coe was given the Outstanding Service Award, while Certificate of Appreciation were given to Debbie Speck, and members of the 97.7 Moose FM team.

The Auxiliary recognized those who have had long standing commitments to the organization.

Members recognized for 5 years of service include Michael Brooks, Muriel Churchill, Janice Kunz, Patricia McColl, Susan Rajsic, Barbara Swan, and Carolyn Williams. Pat Drummond, Rita Kerr, John and Sharon MacDonald, and Stuart Martin were recognized for 10 years of service. Dianne Coulson, Rose Goodwin, Mary McCann, and Jim Sopha were recognized for 15 years of service, Jean Kelly was recognized for her contribution over the past 20 years, and Arva Tryon was recognized for 25 years.

The Auxiliary also recognized those who contributed a significant number of volunteer hours to the organization this past year.

Marie Hayton, Jeanette Howsen, David MacLeod, Robin Miller, Debbie Speck, Barbara Swan, and Alic Wilcox were recognized for contributing over 1,000 hours to the Auxiliary. Gabby Coe and Mary McCann were recognized for 2,000 hours of service, Sharon MacDonald for 3,000 hours, and Dianne Martin was recognized for contribution 6,000 hours to the Auxiliary.
