You won’t need an outdoors card or fishing licence to go fishing in Hastings County this weekend.
The province says fishing will be free across Ontario over the Family Day long weekend.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says you will still need to follow the rules, like staying away from designated marine-life sanctuaries.
Another free weekend of fishing will also be coming up in July.
