QHC’s MRI machine to be upgraded; will be out of service for some time

Quinte Health Care’s MRI machine will be out of service between March 10th and April 22nd. QHC says the machine will be getting some upgrades to make sure local hospitals can accurately diagnose patients.

During that time, arrangements have been made with other hospitals in the region for those who need an MRI. QHC says, in other cases, alternatives may be considered, or postponing the MRI until after April 22nd.

The North Hastings Fund Development Committee helped bring in money for the upgrades.
