Killaloe OPP asks you to report stunt driving

In less than a week, the Killaloe OPP has charged two people for stunt driving on Highway 41 in Bonnechere Valley.

Early on the morning of August 14th, police charged a Bonnechere Valley man for driving 166 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone. Then last Friday afternoon, a Petawawa man was charged for driving at 215 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone.

Constable Catherine Yarmel says there are penalties for those who choose to drive more than 50 kilometres over the posted speed limit.

Yarmel says you should report anyone you see stunt driving to police.

Yarmel says stunt driving not only puts you at risk, but also other drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
