A man has been charged by the OPP after stealing gas at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar in Bancroft.
The OPP says the Belleville man filled up with gas, but left without paying. Police say they found the 20-year-old man a short time later, and say he was driving with license plates that were reported to be stolen.
He is now charged with theft under five-thousand-dollars, possession of property acquired by crime and failure to comply with a probation order. He is scheduled to appear in Bancroft court in January.
