This is Police Week in Ontario, through to May 17th, and this year’s theme is “Building Community Partnerships.” Police Week is dedicated to increasing community awareness, recognizing policing services and strengthening partnerships between police and the community. This year the Bancroft OPP will have a display at the Canadian Tire store on Friday the 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The OPP invites you to visit the display and ask questions. They also have free educational materials such as handouts covering ATV safety tips and other crime prevention material.
