The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has issued a flood watch near some Bancroft area waterways.
The MNRF says those near the York, Burnt, and Irondale rivers should be on the lookout for potential flooding. That’s because snow continues to melt, and we are expecting about 50 to 60 millimetres of rain throughout the week, which could increase levels in local waterways.
The rest of the Bancroft area is under a Flood Outlook statement, which is an early notice of potential flooding based on weather forecasts.
