Bancroft Council is moving forward with addressing problems with the town’s sewer system.
Council voted in favour of putting out a request for proposals for camera imaging to find infiltration into the system.
CAO Hazel Lambe says the town is still waiting for Clean Water and Wastewater Funding from the province, but if it is approved, the town can start looking for the problems and solutions.
Lambe says the cost of camera imaging, smoke-testing, and repairs would be somewhere around $300,000.
