Bancroft Council has voted in favour of declaring 10 town-owned properties as surplus.
The list includes a number of vacant lots, along with the municipal dog park, the municipal office, and the parking lot at the corner of Flint Avenue and Hastings Street North. Once these properties are declared surplus, staff can move forward with listing them for sale.
The town says the value of the properties has yet to be determined, and any revenue from their sales could be put towards municipal needs.
