Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health wants you to help prevent a new generation of smokers.
The health unit is calling on you to support plain and standardized packaging for tobacco products across Canada. Public Health says this is important because packaging is a way for tobacco companies to advertise, and make their products look cool or attractive to youth.

According to the health unit, 28 per cent of residents in Hastings and Prince Edward counties smoke.
