Information about the Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program will be presented to Hastings Highlands residents on Monday.
This comes in the wake of recent flooding across Eastern Ontario, including parts of Kamaniskeg Lake.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs will present information about how disaster victims can apply for provincial funding to cover the cost of repairing and replacing essential property and other eligible expenses. This applies to homeowners, tenants, small business owners, and non-profit organizations.
The special council meeting to present the information will be held on Monday at 6:00pm at the Hastings Highlands Centre in Maynooth.
