Communities across the region are getting into the Canadian Spirit, and celebrating our county’s 150th anniversary.
Canada Day celebrations in Bancroft will start at 1:50pm in Millennium Park, and will feature live music, a parade, and a number of events. Fireworks will also be happening at dusk by Foodland.
Those living in Hastings Highlands can also attend Bancroft’s Canada Day celebrations. The TROUT has organized to have a bus bring residents from the Hastings Highlands Centre to Bancroft at 1:00pm, and back up to Maynooth from Millennium Park at 5:40pm.
But the celebrations don’t stop there, as Coe Hill has organized a number of Canada 150 events as well. Celebrations kick off at noon at the fairgrounds, the annual parade starts at 1:30pm at the Pavillion, and you can also catch fireworks at dusk.
Highlands East also has a full day of celebrations planned, starting with an opening ceremony in Cardiff at 8:45am, activities throughout the day, and a Fireworks Grand Finale in Gooderham in the evening.
