North Hastings residents are being asked to give at Canadian Blood Services’ upcoming donation clinic in Bancroft.
Territory Manager Debbi Barfoot says the goal is to collect 58 units at the clinic, which can help a lot of people.
It’s important to donate, as Canadian Blood Services is reporting a critical shortage in its supply. Barfoot is calling on you to do just that, but is also reminding you it’s important to take all the right steps beforehand.
You can register by calling 1-888-2-DONATE, or by booking an appointment online at blood.ca. Walk-ins are also welcome at Monday’s clinic, which happens from 1:30pm to 6:30pm at the Bancroft Legion.
