Parents are being reminded it’s almost time to register their kids for school.
The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board says, during the week of August 28th, local elementary schools will be open for registration. The board is reminding you to make sure you bring a birth certificate or passport when registering, along with an immunization card, and information about where you live.
Those with kids heading to North Hastings High School can register on Monday, August 28th, and Tuesday, August 29th, from 8:00am to 2:30pm.
The board is also asking you to contact your child’s school to apply for transportation. For more information, click here.
The 2017-2018 school year starts on September 5th.
