Local communities set to split over $500,000 in federal Gas Tax Fund

All local communities are set to receive thousands of dollars through the federal Gas Tax Fund.

The federal government has announced communities across Ontario will share over $782-million through the fund, to be put towards projects like road and bridge repairs.

Local communities will get a piece of that funding:

– Hastings Highlands will receive $126,720.

– Bancroft will receive $117,964.

– Highlands East will receive $98,780.

– North Kawartha will receive $69,593.

– Faraday will receive $44,632.

– Carlow/Mayo will receive $27,120.

– Wollaston will receive $21,525.

– Tudor and Cashel will receive $17,816.

– Limerick will receive $10,702.

Hastings County as a whole is also expected to cash in on over $1.2-million from the federal Gas Tax Fund.
