Those who took part in Sunday’s Terry Fox run in Bancroft were treated to beautiful weather as they helped to raise money for cancer research.
Councilor Tracy McGibbon welcomed participants to open the event.
Run organizer Ron Speck says that it was another successful event, with early totals showing that close to $11,500 was raised locally and pledges are still coming in.
57 participants took part in this year’s run in Bancroft.
