The town of Bancroft is hosting the ‘Stronger Communities Symposium’ tomorrow.
The town says the event is meant to inspire and develop opportunities for sustainable economic growth and employment in Bancroft, and across rural eastern Ontario.
While tickets for the event are $65 each, a couple of tomorrow afternoon’s events will be free. At 1:00pm, residents can take in a presentation from Bancroft’s Community Safety and Well-Being Committee.
Then at 1:45pm, residents are encouraged to see a presentation from Keynote Speaker Doug Griffiths, Author of ’13 Ways to Kill Your Community’. Griffiths will be speaking about how everyone in a community needs to work together in order to make it successful.
The ‘Stronger Communities Symposium’ will run from 8:30am until 4:30pm at Bancroft’s Village Playhouse.
