A man accused of being involved in an Amber Alert is now facing criminal charges.
On September 15th, police arrested the 41-year-old near the Dacre area, who had allegedly been involved in the disappearance of his six-year-old son in Quebec. OPP says the Amber Alert was issued after the child went missing from his home the day before. The boy was found safe when the man was arrested.
The Quebec man is now facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, flight from police, and resisting arrest. He will appear in Ottawa court to face the charges.
