A Selwin senior was victimized by a telephone scam. Her received a call from a person claiming to be a representative of Micro Soft. The caller told the victim that his computer needed to be upgraded and that he would ave to pay for the service. The caller then asked for, and was given the victim’s VISA information. The victim was suspicious and immediately called his bank to report the fraud. The Police remind you never to give out your personal information unless it is absolutely necessary and then only if you trust the person you are dealing with.
