Everyone in the North Hastings area is being invited to spend Christmas Eve together.
That’s according to the Organizer of Bancroft’s Community Christmas Dinner Marie Tenthorey. For the 25th year, a complete turkey dinner with all the fixings, ham, and desert will be served free-of-charge on Christmas Eve. There will be a donation box set up for anyone who wants to give. There will be a live band, and Santa is also expected to make an appearance.
Tenthorey says she encourages everyone in the area to come out and spent time together.
Tenthorey says meals will once again be delivered to those who can’t attend the dinner.
Tenthorey says over 600 people showed up for the dinner last year, and over 200 meals were sent out to those that couldn’t make it.
The Community Christmas Dinner is happening from 4:00pm to 6:00pm this Sunday at the Bancroft Legion.
